We are currently looking for a talented Advanced technical Support Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing bugs and performance issues
  • Fixing problems in Data Integration applications
  • Troubleshooting mappings, sessions and workflows
  • Mapping and workflow performance tuning
  • Writing and updating the existing technical documentation
  • Monitoring of production data flows, reports and tasks
  • Correction of corrupted data
  • Solving application and user issues via ticket system in regulated time periods
  • Analyzing user requests and requirements
  • Analyzing and evaluating failures and performance decreases on database and application level
  • Solving application and performance issues and executing workarounds
  • Planning database and application downtimes
  • Coordination and communication between support teams and management

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related numerate / quantitative subject
  • Previous experience in a similar support role, with experience of deploying, configuring and troubleshooting software products is an advantage
  • Experience with databases would be advantage – Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM Netezza, Teradata or other
  • Solid knowledge and experience with SQL and Data Modeling
  • Experience with Data Integration tools such as MS SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter, IBM DataStage, Oracle Data Integrator, MS SSIS, Ab Initio or others is a valuable plus
  • Capability to approach problems as challenges and deal with them constructively
  • English language proficiency (spoken and written)
  • German language proficiency (spoken and written) would be an additional plus
  • Availability for floating working time and service coverage on national holidays
  • Very good analytical thinking
